Sea Bags has introduced a new whale tail print seen here on a wine bag ($29). It's also available on a tote in blue, green or pink. Don't know about you but I prefer my whales blue. I do, however, like my giant sea snails pink.

|Gold Mine 7 Piece Brush Set With Case ($24.99)|
|"Roped In" Kabuki Brush ($12.99)|
I'm loving these limited edition cosmetic brushes from Sonia Kashuk available at Target. Haven't seen them online yet. Not only do you get five million brushes (and by five million, I mean seven) but you also get a fabulous wicker clutch.

Rising fashion star Kinder Aggugini just created an affordable line for Macy's and it's super fab. I read about this glorious news in Glamour's "Five Things To Know Right Now." The other four weren't so great, e.g., "Grunge Is Alive Again." Ug. Not if I can help it.

In conjunction with the publication of In The Spirit Of St. Barths ($45) by Pamela Fiori, Aussoline is offering a chance for a St. Barths Getaway. I so need one. Tootsie does too, but we might have to settle for the book which looks fabulous.
"In spite of an airport runway that's not for the faint-hearted, St. Barths is synonymous with Caribbean elegance and chic. In this celebratory volume Pamela Fiori, a regular visitor for both work and pleasure, shares the legacy of the island. Through interviews with locals and regulars, many of them bold face names, she shows off the best beaches, villas with extraordinary views, and some of the island's most memorable destination weddings. A final chapter, Essential St. Barth features Fiori's pick of hotels, villa rental companies, event planners, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and shops." -Aussouline

Check out Keira Knightley rock the casbah in the new short film for Coco Chanel's Mademoiselle. Here are some observations:
- Keira's hair is fabulous with a capital FABULOUS.
- They make cream-colored motorcycles (I know about the cream-colored ponies)?
- The wallpaper in the opening sequence is to die for (Oscar Wilde would approve).
- Get ready for the beige power jumpsuit to make a comeback.
- There's a nice homage to Coco with a mirrored spiral staircase.
Directed by Joe Wright of Atonement fame, the Chanel ad is mandatory Fabulous Alert viewing. Click here for the Coco.

I have a soft spot for busted up animals. As a child I'd always choose the ugliest stuffed animals because I thought no one would love them. When I saw Feel Better, Little Buddy: Animals With Casts by Julia Segal, I could scarcely contain my aahs. Selling for $10.27 on Amazon, it's a cute gift idea for someone dealing with the not so fun healing process.
Post Snark: The pup on the cover looks a lot like Strut, a family pet from many moons ago.

Kathy Griffin's brining the funny tonight in her special Fifty And Not Pregnant. I'm sad she's not doing My Life On The D-List anymore but as long as she's throwing Bravo a special from time to time, I'll be okay. The laughs begin at 9 on Bravo.

I swim a mile everyday in a pool a slightly less glamourous than any of these. Check out the resort pool slideshow on Coastal Living's website or see them in the March issue.
Post Snark: One of the happiest days of my life was when my parents bought a house with a pool which I lived in because I had to wear a back brace 23 hours a day...unless I was in a pool. Sadly, my hair turned green as a result but whatev. I'm fabulous now.

My iPhone has been in hospital for the past few days but is back home now and resting comfortably. The kind doctors and nurses at the Apple Hospital took good care of her and had her back to me in a flash. Here she is resting on a scarf while my Brownie camera watches over her.
Attention airport security. You can frisk me until the cows come home but don't mess with my precious toiletries. They are sacrosanct.
These inflight bags are see-through so when you go through security your bag won't be violated, however your person might. The set of three sells for $20 at Neiman Marcus.

Never Let Me Go hasn't let me go yet. I keep thinking about the strange storyline, haunting score and Andrew Garfield's disheveled hair.
"Based on Kazuo Ishiguro's acclaimed novel, this sci-fi drama from director Mark Romanek is centered on thirtysomething Kathy (Carey Mulligan), who reflects on her time spent at Hailsham, an English boarding school, alongside classmates Ruth (Keira Knightley) and Tommy (Andrew Garfield). Born for an unusual reason, the three struggle with their destiny and their love triangle. Charlotte Rampling plays headmistress Miss Emily." -Netflix Online
Never Let Me Go is a Fabulous Alert must-queue, but please refrain from watching the movie trailer. It gives away too much.
Post Snark: How is it that Andrew Garfield's messy hair looks so good and my messy hair looks so messy?

Let us pause for a moment and give thanks for the ridiculously handsome, Jon Hamm. Today is his birthday. I would love to see what his parents looked like because I think it needs to be studied.
My favorite part of Jon Hamm is his speaking voice. Listen to his wheel spiel for Kodak in season one of Mad Men. Chills! His brilliant recitation of Frank O'Hara's Meditations In An Emergency (click here) is one of the most poignant moments I've ever seen on television (that and when Reva Shane got amnesia and became Amish on Guiding Light).

Here's some Mardi Gras loot someone standing in front of me paid a high price for. Positioning yourself near an exhibitionist is a great strategy for getting beads and you get to keep your dignity intact.

Bethenny Ever After airs tonight at 10 on Bravo, a Fabulous Alert Level Chartreuse to be sure. So glad she's back. J'adore sassy Bethenny.
Shawn Rabideau, Bethenny's long-suffering wedding coordinator from Bethenny Getting Married, is also back on Bravo in a series of webisodes. Check out this picture gallery of Shawn's priceless expressions and click here for the webisodes.
Post Snark: Here's Bethenny's Bluefly "Closet Confession" commercial, the extended version. So cute.

My philosophy on smelling fabulous is as follows:
- Just because your life stinks, doesn't mean you have to.
- You may not have a million bucks, but you can smell like you do.
- If nothing else, smell amazing (the rest will follow suit).
Bahiana by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier is a frontrunner for my new spring/summer fragrance. The notes include Brazilian orange, caipirinha lemon, mandarin, tagette, green leaf, rosewood, gaiac wood, elemi, amber, musk and coconut. It's available at Lucky Scent for $120 or $3 for a sample.

I'm crazy about Caipirinhas, Brazil's national cocktail. Muddling limes to make a Caipirinha is as much cooking as I do, but it's so worth it. Click here for the recipe. My friends got me this bottle of Cachaca (a liquor made from distilled sugarcane) to make the delicious drink. I love the bottle so much I don't want to drink it, but I also love Caipirinhas. What to do?
Post Snark: Let the drinker beware. Caipirinhas are pretty strong and it's so easy to drink them and drink them and drink them. If I was a gnat, I would dive into a pitcher of Caips and drink my way to the bottom. What a way to go.

Only $29.50 At Old Navy!
These eyelet numbers from Old Navy will help me maintain my fabulosity without breaking the bank. I can wear them when I'm rambling around my French island cottage (see post below). Both the shift and tie-belt dresses sell for $29.50 at Old Navy.
Post Snark: There are no side effects (melting faces, weeping children, etc) from Fabulous and it's totally available. Just look around.

This is where I would think deep thoughts and then read Perez Hilton.
How nice to swim laps oceanside.
When I'm done a batch of Caipirinhas will hit the spot.
Why is there a man in my living room? I think he's the designer.
He can stay because he matches the room.
I can't cook so this is where I would look at take-out menus.
All I really want is a simple French island cottage. This one designed by Barry Dixon will do nicely. Tootsie and I will get along splendidly here. Once again, Coastal Living gets me. Click here to check out the St. Barts stunner.
